The Staffroom Podcast with Chey and Pav Episode 41: Virtual Graduation

In Episode 41 of the Staffroom Podcast, Chey and Pav talk about Moving On ceremonies for students that have graduated during the Remote Learning experience. They discussed how they set up their Virtual Graduation for their students leaving from Grade 8 to transition to Grade 9. The experience of the virtual graduation went from being a very simple presentation for the graduates, to an elaborate live ceremony complete with recorded videos, moments shared by teachers, and even presentations created by students. The celebration was not only a great way for students to end their journey with the school, but also a culmination of their journey with remote learning.

Chey and Pav introduce Shelli Ann, a Teacher-Librarian in Texas for their 3 Enlightened Minutes segment. Shelli talks about the different ways that the Library space can be utilized to be a more effective resource space for students and teachers.

After the 3 Enlightened Minutes segment, Chey and Pav wrap up by talking about their experience with their Virtual Graduation as their moving on ceremony.
