Sarah Thomas, Ed.D., is an associate professor of education at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. She works closely with student teachers and is interested in international education, STEM for girls and incorporating social justice in the classroom. Since the closing of K-12 schools she and her husband have been homeschooling her two children, which meant relearning fractions. She was thrilled when her student and 2020 BSU graduate Lindsy Donahue agreed to write an article about teaching during the pandemic with her. She’s in awe of Lindsy’s resilience and knows any school will benefit from having her on staff.
